Stoneware also fired around 1300 C differs from porcelain mainly in the colour of the clay body which does not permit translucency and can also be extremely varied in its textural properties. The full penelope of colours can be achieved with the only limitation being the mind and earth.

Fired within a ceramic box with anything which is combustable.
